NICKEFFECT – FreeMe Joint Webinar!
The FreeMe project co-organised with its sister project NICKEFFECT, the Webinar titled “Materials Modelling for Sustainable Materials Development”,
Representing FreeMe, Dr. Kostas Pyrgakis (EXELISIS IKE) introduced the FreeMe SSbD approach for plating on plastics, focusing on how the project aims to remove toxic substances from metallisation processes while ensuring industrial performance and Dr. Albert Sabadell Rendón (IDENER) explained how materials modelling supports sustainable materials development, helping to optimise cleaner and more efficient coating processes
The event provided a great opportunity to showcase FreeMe’s role in advancing Safe and Sustainable by Design (SSbD) strategies in coatings and surface treatments, while connecting with its sister project.
