The FreeMe project proposes the metallization of polymeric (plastic or resins) surfaces eliminating the use of hexavalent chromium (Cr6+) and palladium (Pd) from the Plating on Plastics process, based on a safe and sustainable by design strategy.

FreeMe at SICT 2025
Our journey to Albufeira, Portugal for the SICT 2025 conference was one to remember! From setting up our interactive booth to hosting a dynamic workshop on Safe and Sustainable Coatings, FreeMe made its presence felt.
