The MIRIA project deals with the creation, testing, and distribution of antimicrobial, antifungal, and antiviral coatings for commonplace items. It is anticipated that the use of nanocoating solutions created for the MIRIA project will significantly reduce a virus’s ability to spread through chance contacts with infected surfaces.

Idener, a partner of FreeMe attended the 3rd Consortium Meeting of the MIRIA project, and provided an overview of the project, outlining its goals and noteworthy results. The two projects are expected to embark on a fruitful collaboration and start their joint dissemination efforts to inform the community about their work.
