Within a collaborative project, it is very important for each partner to clearly identify and protect their background and foreground knowledge. In the FreeMe project, 12 partners are collaborating, bringing their own expertise and knowledge to obtain new results. Therefore, it is essential that FreeMe follows a concrete IPR management, to ensure that any new IP generated from the project will be properly protected.
As part of Task 8.2 “Exploitation and business cases”, our partner INCOTEC organized today the 1st internal seminar on Intellectual Property (IP). The seminar was held online. The main aim of this seminar was to inform FreeMe partners on IP Rights, and provide them a first approach to the use, assessment, protection, and exploitation of IP. During the project implementation, more IPR seminars will be organized by our exploitation partner INCOTEC.
